NO GROWING PAINS.

Since our Holiday 2006 line has been shipped, we wanted to throw a BBQ to celebrate the line. It was also Wally's 23rd birthday, so what better way to celebrate than to combine the two occassions into one massive BBQ. So yesterday, we held first-ever seasonal BBQ at our office. Thanks to those who came through to show love... For those who missed out, oh wells.. Guest lists are closed. ( ;

Hahaha, Michael made everyone who came through sign our fun box. Thanks to Arthur from Avenue for building it for us... and yes, just for our BBQ yesterday ( ; Thanks buddy!

However, we must warn you about the following photos because they are a tad bit blurry. Some of the photos were taken by a chemically imbalanced person. HAHA We really don't know who (no names, no names!). Most importantly though, the photos somehow managed to get onto Michael's computer... So yeah, enjoy!

Our skateboy Mike from Hanford (Nor Cal) even came through. We hope he's fed well because that's a little too far of a drive for a BBQ... He's better off at TGIF or something... Hahaha

Heck, we had to get 3 grills to accomodate everyone. Dang pigs... we had korean BBQ, baby back ribs, teriyaki chicken, hot dogs, homemade hamburgers and etc... Shit, we spent over (too much money) for this event!

Oh dang, a throwback baseball jersey? Hmm... no? Yeah?

If you guys want a fresh cut, hit up Francis in Cerritos... Word on the street is that he's the best ( ;

Ooohhh weee, Krystal and Kelleen showing Wally a little some some on his birthday

Heard of Thefizix.com? Sure you have... Well that's the man Rick behind the website

Alright, chilllllll....

Gee, who is this cute little brat?

Kate, you're suppose to turn the other way to your boyfriend. Michael is NOT your boyfriend.. What's good AJ?!

Our 12" fun box and the skateboys in the back

What? Is that Vince from LRG? Much love homie!

Ruff Rydaz are coming back... Just kidding... Hey, we made them sign liability forms before stunnin'

Pedro (Orisue) and Vince (LRG)

We even got Chunk on the 1s and 2s. Thank god he didn't play any hyphy music yesterday... Hahaha just kidding! What is a freaken party without hyphy biz? Thank you yay area!

Ladies... Hey ladies...

Wow, Alvin sure is brave letting Mike ollie over our office couch!

C L E A R E D--pretty much the only word that comes to my mind watching Taiyo bust.

A pretty decent photo huh? HECK YES! Courtesy of Eric Catig, the man behind our Holiday 2006 photoshoot

Yeah, another bboy of ours offered his whole body while another skater ollie over him. This time we didn't offer him a liability form because he doesn't have a citizenship in the U.S. So technically, he can't really sue us if he gets hurt. Woo hoo... We love A.L.I.E.N.S... Whats up QuanLuv!

No... No... No!!!!! This is totally going bad...

OMG! WOW...I can do that too.. pssshh in my DREAMS.

Damnit, Mike (Orisue) was a little tired and tipsy, but he cleared it! EASY.

This is the Orisue family... missing Bill and Chunk. See, we're totally a diversed group of friends ( ;

Happy birthday punk!

Well thats it folks. If you like what we do at our BBQs, maybe next time you can put your name on the guest list ( ; The next BBQ will probably be in the middle of January when we release our Spring 2007 line ( ;

EVER SEEN A STREETWEAR STORE ON STEROIDS? NAH SON, NEVER SEEN...

Yep, thats right... We have never either. When we first heard of Attic, we thought it was just going to be a typical small streetwear boutique like everyone else or perhaps a hole in the wall. How about EIGHT THOUSAND SQUARE FEET FOR YOU DARN STREETWEAR GOONIES?

But first off, do you guys care about our shipping status? Well, our east coast stores should be receiving our shipment sometime this week. Then we will start shipping our west coast and international stores tomorrow. Which means by Monday, November 20th - We'll be officially dropping our Holiday 2006 season.

As you can see, countless boxes are ready to be picked up by the UPS guy. We hope hes doesn't have any back problems... Hahaha!

How do you guys feel about Allen's new steez? Hahaha... Anyway, Allen is making sure everything is going smoothly

Now, lets start talking about the REAL feature of the day, rather than our shipping status right? Who the hell cares anyway right? Riiiiiigggghhhhtttt.....

Look at the size of that freaken building! Before it used to be an old bank... Now its converted into some streetwear store. Wow, some streetwear store totally sounds sooooo underated. What you guys are about to see is totally real and not photoshopped. To some, it may be a little overwhelming because your bank accounts are going to go dry pretty soon. Remember that one time when your pops asked if you would like to cut the grass for about $50 bucks a session? Well, we totally suggest you to take that offer...

How often do you see a streetwear boutique with a street lighted sign?

What? This is no streetwear boutique... Its a streetwear boutique on steroids! And what? That is only half of the shop? Must you ask where is the other half? Well you're in for a surprise...

Don't freight kids, they are getting ready to open this Friday... Yes, this Friday!

You know what, we'll let you figure it out from here on out without our lame captions...

What the heck? A conveyor belt? What for?

OH-MY-GOOD-NESS... GAHHH!!!! (inside joke)

Decorated with beautifully crafted plywood

Wally praising James for his great craftsmanship

More rows of shoes...

Straight from Orange County: FrancoShade, Triumvir3, Cosby and of course... Orisue? Why...

Yeah, more shoes... *sigh*

Look at the excitement on Wally's face! Hahahaha

Haven't seen that yet, have you?

OG Michael Jordon poster, ya heard?

When does it ever end?

Ahh, thats whats up!

Wallys pretty dazed...

180 + top to bottom mirrow for those vain a** people...

Man, we can't stress how big this store is... Or how much worth of inventory this store is going to have. We also wonder if this store is going to be one of the biggest streetwear boutique in the states... Wait, is it even called a boutique anymore? Not at this scale... Its more of like a boutique on steroids. We talked to James of Attic and he mentioned that the store will be carrying pretty much every streetwear brand, quickstrikes, and high end denims such as: A.P.C, Sugarcane and Cheap Mondays. Not only that, you could perhaps grab an ice cream and lick your way through endless racks of clothes and shoes whiling listen to live guest DJs. Yep. Once again, we can't stress how crazy this store is going to be... Okay kids, this store will be open on Friday, November 17th. They may not have all the products up on the shelves yet as they will be slowing stocking the products up pretty soon. This looks like its going to be THE spot in Southern Cali...

Yup! You heard it on our website first! If they ask how you heard about them, please refer Orisue ( ;

UPS GET READY.. HOLIDAY IS ON ITS WAY!

Yes, yes, yall it's HOLIDAY shipping time! Wally and the office crew [including some new faces, Travis and Vicky] are getting through ALL of our Holiday orders. Trust me, the office has NEVER been packed like this, I mean boxes from wall to wall, floor to ceiling!

11.jpg

10.jpg

Okay, so I read an estimate that some FOUR BILLION trees are cut down a year to make paper products. Whether that estimate is anywhere close to the actual amount, one thing is certain—our office is bombarded with hundreds of boxes made out of those poor, poor trees!

09.jpg

Umm. I guess working in the heat makes you act a little.... well weird.. but isn't it interesting how Wally, knowing that it's shipping day, wears basketball shorts and a white tee, but still manages to wear a pair of jordan 13's?! Yup, that's pretty much the definition of a sneaker head!

02.jpg
03.jpg

Why does this pic of Vicky remind me of shopping at the grocery store?! Well at least here you get goodies like our new ________ t-shirt or our new __________ hoodie that has a _________ design on it! haha.. just one more week til we release! just one more week!

04.jpg

This is Travis' second or third week at work and it just happened to be shipping week. I'm sorry for you and your back. ;)

05.jpg

AND to end this off... what the efff is Wally doing to Bill?!?? I know Bill has to go out of town, but wouldn't he rather just drive than get sent by mail? Beats me! HAHA

08.jpg

Don't forget to check back... we'll be updating both, our COLLECTION section and our PRESS section.. ahem.. VAPORS MAGAZINE.. ahem.. URB MAGAZINE

CUT & PASTE: CTRL + C, CTRL + V

Well, thats if you have a PC, then those are the hot keys for cut and paste. Now if you have an Apple, its... well you get the point ( ;

Anyway, the day started out really darn busy because we're crunching up for our trade shows happening within a few months. Fall 2007 is looking pretty extensive so far, now that we've added 2 more members to the team. Introducing...

Bill, Diane, and Fred. The dude in the middle in brown is Joffrey who just stopped by to help out Fred.

With well over 12+ years of professional experience, Bill helps Diane prepare for her first day at Orisue

Allen and Alvin preparing our Media Press Kit for Spring 2007

After a busy day at work, Michael and Allen went out to Costco to get some quick snacks to eat. If you live in Southern California, Costco has one of the best and most affordable pizzas in town. C'mon, look at the price! $10 buckaroos for a whole pizza? We sometimes wonder what kind of ingredients they put in the pizza... We'll just leave it with its mystery

Yumm...

Then Michael and Allen headed out to Steve's (Avenue) house to go meet up for the Cut & Paste event tonight. Ever since we've known Steve, he has always been a vintage item collector. Whether it be old airport chairs, 70s TV, or even Hot Wheels. Now what Allen is sitting on, used to be a play chair at McDonalds; you know... in the play section. We believed Steve probably jacked the play chair sometime, long ago... Or he bought it from someone who jacked the play chair. Either way, stealing from the kids is most definitely a no no...

Steve brought back some peanut cookies from his recent trip to Japan... Well thats what he said, or the cookies could possibly be vintage too. If so, thats gross... Allen ate it, Michael didn't... SMART!

Japanese curry is argued one of the best curry in the world. Yes, you heard it from us! Now go try it for yourself!

We finally arrived at the Cut & Paste event in Echo Park

Monitors being projected onto the walls so its visible to everyone

Event jammed pack with, well you know... cool geeks and a bunch of streetwear goonies

Michael, Allen, and Arthur (Avenue) Look at those rosey cheeks on Allen... and his Colgate smile... Hahaha!

Pretty neat huh?

Quarter Final contestants

Now, for those who don't know what the Cut & Paste event is all about. Its an event held for graphic designers to come together to compete. They are given a theme and approximately 15 minutes to design. How they are judged is based in simplicity and obviously, how well its designed. Now if you're a graphic designer, you could understand how difficult it is to design something within 15 minutes. Most graphic designers, well... how about OUR graphic designers spend approximately 1-2 hours to a whole day starring at a blank screen, thinking about ideas and etc. For these guys to be responsible for a graphic within 15 minutes is completely insane. So if the following graphics aren't appealing to you and you think you could design better? Why don't you sign up next year and you can applaud yourself later. www.cutandpastecontest.com - For more information.

Here are the before and after photos

Allen, Fred, Arthur (Avenue), and Ash (Avenue)

His dots are bigger than YOURS

The Semi-Finalists

Oh yeah, Press baby... Press!

So yes, thats it for today. Check back Monday. You might find a surprise or two... ( ;

November 08, 2006

1/2 OF HOLIDAY 2006 PRODUCTION RECEIVED!

Ben from Dope Distribution showed us a photo of Michael featured in some Japanese magazine:

On another note, we have received 1/2 of our Holiday 2006 production today. That means as soon as we receive the other 1/2, we will be shipping to stores pretty soon...

Grant came through to help separate the boxes

Even Chunk came through too!

November 03, 2006

1/4 OF HOLIDAY 2006 PRODUCTION RECEIVED!

Apples aren't suppose to mess up right? Wrong... Michael's new MacPro burped today so we lost quite a few photos of what happened today at the office... Sorry, maybe we can find the photos somehow?

Anyway, Michael and Allen headed out to Simi Valley this morning at 6 AM to pick up 1/4 of our Holiday 2006 production. Yes! Finally! For those who are anticipating our Holiday 2006 drop, we should be shipping to stores on the week of November 20th.

While they were driving down the 405, they saw Alvin driving home so they asked if he could swing by the office to help us sort the goods. Little did we know, he was actually on the way home from Santa Barbara to stop by to help us anyway. Thanks buddy!

Alvin slowly stocking 60+ boxes worth of t-shirts... Ouch!

Hahaha, hes slowly growing our his hair... Looks good.

=X

Hello? Does anyone ever work in the office? Hello? Fridays are usually useless Fridays. No one likes to work because of the homornes anticipating for the weekend so we decided to invite a few guests over to hang with us and help us sort at the same time ( ;

Krystal kept on insisting a hug from Michael... Let the guy do his job darnit!

Vanna White? What are you doing here? No just kidding... its Kelleen!

What? One of the few 365 pairs of Greedy Genius' anniversary shoe "The Phantom" ?

Bill said "If you're a true shoe head, you would lick the bottom sole of the shoes because you'll never get to lick it again. Its a celebration b**ches. I'll do it!" - Uh, yeah... You heard it ( ;

Unfortunately, thats all for today because we lost a lot of photos due to the darn MacPro! Grrr...Maybe tomorrow? Please come back again.

November 02, 2006

ALLEN: CLEAN UP! CLEAN UP! PRODUCTION COMING IN TOMORROW!

Allen: "Clean up! Clean up! Production is coming in tomorrow! I want the office clean now!"

When we heard that, we got up immediately and started rearranging our office to make it look "ugly" in order to stock our production for Holiday 2006 that is coming in tomorrow. Remember Fall 2006 shipment? Well yeah, its twice as much for Holiday 2006. Racks galore? Heck no, stacked boxes baby!

Yeah, not the best arrangement, but we had to

We had to create more boxes and it wasn't the most exciting thing to do

You know what they say, if you want to be the boss, you have to do everything... and that includes cleaning the toilet and even sweeping the floors

Fred pumping out designs for Fall 2007... and its looking pretty hot so far

To the left is Michael's corner and to the right is Bill's corner. In front of Bill's desk is Chunk's desk. What we recently started was a critique wall. Where we would throw up our finished or unfinished ideas onto the wall so that we could share our creative ideas. Sometimes we would make each other cry because our critiques may seem a little harsh, especially Fred... he cried... no kidding. But oh well, its only healthy ( ; Its a really good idea, you guys should try it ( ; But where the heck is Bill?

Hah, found him outside skating. Sometimes when we're bogging our minds, we would step outside for some fresh air... whether it be skateboarding... or simply just kicking the soccer ball

Our big players Kevin and Alain who does our sales. Keep the accounts coming boys!

Michael was bothering the crap out of Alain so he bribed him to go away with some gushers... What a nice way to bribe a 22 year old guy. Simply nice...

Even Mia came through to help us! But most of the time she was taking Michael's razor to cut up her jeans even more... Can't you see? They are almost falling apart and she still wants to make more cuts... K-I-N-K-A-Y...

Lately, we've been starting a "WDWWT" post also known as "WHAT DID WALLY WEAR TODAY?" - It was totally his idea... how vain of him. Pfffttt!

Every freaken week Wally gets a damn lineup. This time it wasn't our logo; this time its a bunch of lines... also known as "Merimekko" - our pattern ( ;

Well, thats it for today. We'll be sure to post more photos tomorrow... The next couple days should be very interesting. So please check back soon!
