This past weekend I took a trip up to the Pacific Northwest and I came to the conclusion that Seattle is the shit. Once home to such talented people like Bruce Lee, Kurt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix, and has birthed many powerhouse corporations like Starbucks, Microsoft, Amazon.com and UPS (started by a 19 yr old kid with $100). Seattle has everything you want in a city and then some....
Often times, we are so caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially the goodness of the people we meet on the way. So we wanted to take this time to appreciate some of members as well as introduce two new members to the team, Matt Wenz (Creative) and Jeff Garza (Sales).

Michael's good friend Lacey over at Playboy surprised us with a shipment...Playboy Energy that is! "PBE" came straight from Salt Lake City and were still cold when they got here. I've heard a lot about this drink from some friends so it was about time I finally cracked one open and took a sip. The verdict: pretty damn good. Kinda needs to be watered down with some sort of liquor though. HAHA! Thanks again Lacey!
The amount of talent one can possess sometimes amazes me. Jun is definitely an example of what I'm talking about. Jun came in Monday to meet with Mikal about some design business. It wasn't long before the marketing and sales team were in on the meeting trying to see what kind of artwork Jun or the "Thornkid" (I still have zero idea what the meaning behind "Thornkid" is) had to offer. He showed us his portfolio and quickly we realized why he was here. Jun's 29 and graduated from Pasadena Art Center, which is a HUGE accomplishment (people from PIXAR and WALT DISNEY graduated from there!!). I was talking to him about some of his pieces, such as the one featured below, and he said he just goes for it. All freestyle art. Oh yeah, did I mention he can KILL it in illustrator too? Very hyped to see what he has to offer, and how he meshes with the rest of our design team.

Michael's steez, swag, doucheness has been changing a lot lately. For some odd reason, we can foresee Michael leaning towards a modern Shakespeare... Or maybe a double in the musical "Wicked".. Hmm which might be the reason the brooms missing...
There's something about getting production in and having it look absolutely perfect. Perhaps that was the reason there was so much energy this past Tuesday. Or perhaps it was watching the Presidential race that is going to "change the world." Either or, Tuesday was one of those days where everything just turned out perfect. We had scheduled a shoot with U-N-I for our more prestige Holiday 2 jackets. The guys very willingly came out for the shoot. I also told our photographer Louis over at tikkostudios.com that we needed to get him out of the studio. We wanted to see what he could do with a setting. So about 30 minutes before the shoot he takes me around the block to a railroad track and it was THE spot. Set up the lights and within 30 minutes we had YO in the first outfit taking pics. Occasionally checking his blackberry for Obama updates and trying to decide the perfect spot to celebrate the victory. Hooters anyone? With all that aside, I'm proud to introduce to you guys to our Holiday 2008 Delivery 2 collection. Shouts again Louis!
I know, I know. We've been putting up a lot of video's lately, but this one is a good one. So, Orisue is going in a new direction and we're looking to sponsor korean boy bands. I've already made calls to our distributors in Korea to get this going. What do you think?

Remember a month or two ago when we went to China and HK for production? Well, our friend and long time supporter (well as long as we've been around, which isn't that long really... I guess his long time, is actually short,... nevermind.), Paul (SGV), just got back from there and made a really awesome video that documents his trips.
