I hate the fact that ASR is right after Magic (I need at least a month to recover from Vegas) but work is work and since ASR is a hour and a half south of the Orisue Towers, Allen had the bright idea to rent a van and drive the booth down instead of shipping it in a crate. Thanks Allen, I'll mail you the medical bills after the show.
Our long time friend and supporter since the very beginning, Alex James (HomeRoom) dropped by the office today with Dom (HomeRoom) to pay a surprise visit. Alex drove down to Cali from Las Vegas after the Magic Trade Show to stay in town for the Agenda and ASR Trade Show thats happening this week in San Diego. When you've got 10 people who've never spent more than 5 minutes at a time with eachother sharing one van, one hotel room and one spliff every hour, someone is bound to lose their mind and/or kill someone else along the ride. Fortunately and surprisingly, this didn't happen on the recent trip our skate team took up the coast to San Francisco. As a matter of fact, it couldn't have been any further from the truth.
Yes, Daniel did get knocked the fuck out, but it wasn't anyone on the van. That was just some random dude at a Fresno house party... And it was pretty sweet. Other highlights include Alec Jamir getting choke slammed, Larelle Gray not liking anything but new-age gangster rap music, Derek Wilson freestyling at random and often in-appropriate times, Migs trying to fight a chick, Pedro lacing the 10 of us with one cabin room at Woodward, learning Tim Thomas doesn't drink and is now the permanent DD, me locking everyone out of the hotel room at 4AM, Zach getting everyone back in, Macmen pwning Fresno, and Yassine's mere existence.
Oh yeah, the skating was fantastic as well. In just 3 days, we managed to come out with 10 hours worth of footy to dig through... Which leads me to my point. Catch our mini tour video at Magic next week. Also, check the SKATE SECTION cause I'll be posting it up in sections starting next Friday. I gots to get the fuck up outta here though cause I haven't even started this shit yet and Magic begins this Monday. Come party with us in Vegas you fucks.
